WHO IS A
CAMP GRIZZLY CAMPER?
Camp Grizzly accepts children between age 7 and 14 who are:

Deaf or hard of hearing.

Hearing but has deaf or hard of hearing parents.

Hearing but has deaf or hard of hearing siblings.

WHO IS A
CAMP GRIZZLY CIT?
Campers age 15 to 17 who are also deaf, hard of hearing or KODA

CITs are recommended to attend CIT training for 2 days on July 30-31 Friday and Saturday, 2010 at no extra cost.

     

CAMP GRIZZLY IS PEOPLE
All camp counselors
and program staff are:

Are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or fluent  in Sign Language.

Selected based on their background in leadership skills, education and recreation.

Required to complete an intensive
pre-camp training session for 3 days on
July 29-31, 2010.

 

CAMP GRIZZLY PROGRAM
Camp Grizzly has activities to provide every camper with challenge and achievement

Sports including archery, golf, soccer, softball, Frisbee, volleyball, basketball, and water activities.

Recreation including arts & crafts, rope courses, outdoor skills, nature study, and campfires.

Educational programs including drug/alcohol prevention, self-defense,
"I Can Sign!", water safety and first aid.
