BASIC EMPLOYMENT SKILLS TRAINING

BEST provides the following services:

Assessments to determine readiness for employment.

Classes that provide basic skills training for employment
Communication in written English for completing job applications and other employment documents, and communicating with your supervisor
Communication in American Sign Language for using an interpreter during job interviews
Math such as budgeting, understanding your paycheck, balancing your checkbook

Personal Work Success program that address potential or current employment issues such as transportation, child care, or social skills.

Eligibility:
18 years of age or older Deaf or hard of hearing
Referred by the Department of Rehabilitation
